THE STORY OF THE SAI GON PEARL RICE
Our village's rice grain
It has a taste of silt
Of Kinh Thay River
It has a fragrant lotus scent
In a lake full of water
There's a song mom sings
Sweet and bitter…
Indeed, you've at least heard the poem Rice Grain in Ta Village by poet Tran Dang Khoa; the poem revolves around the vast rice fields, the sweet scents of rice, and how densely nourished rice grains Vietnamese people have been since childhood.
Growing up in the countryside, with vast stretches of rice fields, we welcomed each dawn by the immense rice fields and watched the hardworking farmers with muddy hands and feet. We understand that the grain of rice is small, but the effort we put into it is tremendous. The farmer's aunts and uncles work tirelessly, not to mention the challenges they face.
The launch of a rice production brand with the desire to bring the sweat and hard work of the people of my hometown to a new level has ignited a passion for getting large, round grains of rice to friends everywhere to enjoy, appreciate, and relax.
THE SWEETS AND THE BITTERS OF LIFE
As we accompany the farmer's growth journey more than anyone else, we understand the hardships that farmers go through after each crop.
Good seasons are rare, but the weight of each loss is felt throughout the field.
Traders often force prices down, bargaining hard and sometimes not even consuming the produce, even though farmers have already lowered their costs significantly.
Witnessing this, we have nurtured our dreams of becoming a buyer and directly distributing and exporting rice from rural areas to new markets. We aim to alleviate the worries of crop failures, capital losses, and the loss of a source of income that people have spent so many years building up.
Of course, when we entered the Vietnamese rice market in the first few years, we encountered countless unnamed obstacles. However, we always maintained close ties with the farmers and brought their high-quality rice yields to the market. We offered the best, most fragrant, and competitively-priced rice, and we were committed to not using any preservatives or chemicals.
Over a long operation, we have gradually established our position in Vietnamese and international markets. Saigon Pearl always values and appreciates those who have been with us from the beginning, through the difficult times, until we finally achieved success and recognition.
Thank you for including Vietnamese rice in your family meals and contributing to the development of Vietnam's agricultural industry. It's a new step forward, and we are proud to be a part of it.
